Hurricane Helene relief

Dear Church Family:

I hope you are aware and heartbroken about the damage that Hurricane Helene has wrought!  Sad and tragic as it is, we have a responsibility as citizens of USA and all the more as citizens and ambassadors of the Kingdom of God to respond, and that too sacrificially.

Joe & Carole Goetz's daughter, Lisa, who just started a food truck - has been ministering in a church parking lot, and yesterday fed over 1000 people for whom this was the first hot meal!  Joe and Carole Goetz are working with an organization called Operation AirDrop that will take supplies to unreachable areas. Joe is willing to take his 12' trailer with needed things this Saturday.  So,

we as a church have an opportunity to give, and we will include our neighborhood to participate!  On Thursday and Friday evenings (October 10-11) between 4-6:30 p.m. please bring what you can from the list, to the church property.  Joe will accept cash and then buy some of the items on the list.  Tomorrow, Sunday (October 6), we will take an Offering during the Worship Service.

Here's the list: Waterproof Mattress pads; specialty baby formula, distilled water, dehumidifiers, Microban, Damp-Rid, Baby Bottles, Bee/Hornet killer, Baby Blankets, Blankets, Hoodies, Coats, Baby Wipes (biggest need), Epi Pens. NO OTHER CLOTHING, WATER OR FOOD.  With the clothes mentioned, should be lightly used.

If you have questions, please contact Joe at (215) 317 8060.

Let us be generous unto the LORD first, and then to this need!

Joseph Thomas
