NVBC celebrates a strong, discipleship-focused set of children and youth ministries.
- Sunday School for all ages begins at 9:00am each Sunday during the school year.
- Children and youth are encouraged to join their families for worship at 10:00am.
- Children ages 4 through 3rd grade are dismissed for Children's Church partway through the service.
- Nursery and Little Learners care is provided throughout the Sunday morning worship service.
- Youth group for 7th through 12th grade meets most Sunday evenings from 7pm to 8:45pm. There are additional youth events that take place at different times through most months, and special annual events including youth retreats.
- Karate for Christ is for all ages, including adults, and meets Tuesday nights in separate sessions for Beginners and Advanced.
- AWANA takes place Friday evenings from 6:45pm to 8:15pm, with check-in starting at 6:30. Clubbers are from grades K through 6, and teen leaders who have spent time in AWANA as clubbers are welcome to return to assist those coming behind. AWANA lasts from September through April.
- Vacation Bible School crashes a week's worth of God stories into a frantic summer week of games, crafts, snacks, dramas, puppet shows, songs, and stories.

Basic child abuse and criminal record clearances are free and must be renewed every five years. FBI fingerprints are not required, but we will record a copy if you have them available. Please contact Michael Sabal in person or by email, mike@nvbc.net, with questions or to submit your results.
